Growing up in Tucson, I felt a connection with the natural world from an early age. As a child I’d spend my days exploring the nearby deserts and sky islands and marveling at the incredible plants and wildlife. My love for the outdoors remained a hobby until I took a semester course with NOLS Patagonia. Coming out of that experience I was hooked on outdoor living and conservation. Since then I have worked across the country, doing conservation work in Alaska, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and most recently Wyoming. When I’m not working, I’m usually diving into my other passions in life: rock climbing, hiking, games, and talking about absolutely nothing with friends for hours.
